Cymply ("we", "us", "our") is a local business directory platform operating in Cyprus. We provide a free service that helps users discover local businesses, services, and attractions across Cyprus.

2. Business Listings

Our directory includes business information collected from publicly available sources, including but not limited to:

  • Public websites and social media pages
  • Government business registries
  • Other publicly accessible directories
  • Direct submissions from business owners

For Business Owners: If your business appears on Cymply, this is a free service to help promote your business to potential customers. You are entitled to claim, edit, or request removal of your listing at any time.

3. Business Owner Rights (GDPR Compliance)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Cypriot data protection laws, business owners have the following rights:

  • Right to Access: View all information we hold about your business
  • Right to Rectification: Correct any inaccurate information
  • Right to Erasure: Request removal of your business listing
  • Right to Claim: Take ownership and control of your business page

4. Content and Intellectual Property

Business Information: We display publicly available business information such as business names, addresses, phone numbers, and opening hours. This information is collected from public sources for the purpose of helping consumers find local services.

User Content: Photos, reviews, and other content submitted by users remain the property of their creators but grant Cymply a license to display them on the platform.

Logos and Trademarks: Business logos and trademarks are displayed for identification purposes only and remain the property of their respective owners.

5. User Responsibilities

Users of Cymply agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when submitting content
  • Not submit false, misleading, or defamatory reviews
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others
  • Not use the platform for illegal purposes

6. Reviews and Ratings

Reviews submitted by users represent their personal opinions. We do not verify the accuracy of reviews but reserve the right to remove content that:

  • Contains hate speech or discrimination
  • Is clearly false or defamatory
  • Violates the privacy of individuals
  • Is spam or promotional content

Business owners may respond to reviews through their claimed business dashboard.

7. Removal Requests

Business owners who wish to be removed from Cymply may request removal by:

  • Emailing us at removal@cymply-cy.com
  • Using the "Request Removal" option in the Claim Your Business form

Removal requests will be processed within 14 business days in accordance with GDPR requirements.

8. Disclaimer

Cymply provides business information "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy of information from third-party sources
  • The quality of services provided by listed businesses
  • Any transactions between users and businesses

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through our website. Continued use of Cymply constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and the European Union.
